estava acostumada e feliz. Hoje eu vejo o porquê.
Minha primeira família era Espanhola, a segunda é Francesa e
a terceira, Belga.
as culturas, o sotaque e as tradições.
porta, onde estava escrito “Bem vindo à casa Monise” e as bandeiras do Brasil e
It is so
weird to think that when I got here, I should have felt the same feeling that I
had last Sunday, the pain of leaving the ones I love. It is true that on exchange we gain new families, and I don’t
know about other exchangers, but I was already feeling home.
At first I
thought what was the aim of changing families, I was used to my new one, and
I was happy. Today I can tell the reason why.
My first
family was Spanish, the second is French and the third is Belgian. It is
captivating to realize the giant difference between cultures, accent and
traditions.
I was so
well received in Belgium that I have no words to explain how happy I am with my
exchange. Until now all the families were wonderful and I have only good
memories. Life could not be better.
When I got
here on Sunday, I found out a paper pasted in the door where it was written “Welcome
home Monise” (in Portuguese) and the Brazilian and French flags were drew in
there. The same was made in the entrance room, but in French.
On the
first night, we already made lots of plans: we agreed on going to museums and
trips. Doing cultural activities during the weekends, for me, could not be
better.
I confess
that this family already broke a lot of taboos I had. French people can be
really lovely and fun. I can barely wait to see what those next months have for
me.
